More than 200 Green River community members gathered in parking lot 10 adjacent to the Administrative Building for a summer potluck on Aug. 10.
Members of the Executive Staff grilled burgers, veggie burgers and hot dogs while faculty and staff members brought their favorite side dishes to share.
Interim President Scott Morgan took the opportunity to mingle, shake hands and get to know people.
“It was a wonderful opportunity to come together as a campus and remember that we’re all here for the same purpose: to serve our students and our community,” Morgan said. “We had such a great turnout I hardly got to eat there were so many people to meet.”
No college funds were used for the event. Members of the Executive team provided the grilling items while side dishes were provided potluck style by participating faculty and staff.
